The route begins on the other side of the road. Steady climb to the ridge. From the ridge several routes are possible. For my part, I chose to take a left towards the head of Meilleret. When I arrived at the Meilleret ski lift, I went down towards Perche, then climbed back up towards Conche. The path between Perche and Conche requires a sure step in a few places. Indeed, the day I passed by this trail, the ground was soggy and the rocks were therefore slippery. I then went to Lac de Bretaye and went through the Col de Bretaye. I then branched off onto the mountain road which passes below Roc à l'Ours, Chaux Ronde and passed through the hamlet of Ensex to finally complete the loop. The road between the Col de Bretaye and the Col de la Croix presents no major difficulties.
