How to get there:Motorway A6 from Bern to Güetital. Then direction Interlaken, Brien and finally Turren.

Magnificent snowshoe hike on the heights of Lungern not far from the Brünig pass

Starting point, the car park towards the cable car leading from Lungern to Turren, starting point of the hike

Like an isolated arena, the mountain pasture of Üsseri alp, the Bärghuis of Schönbuel, the chalets of the hamlet of Breitenfeld guarantee an exceptional experience

Thanks to its ideal altitude of 1,500 - 2,000m, the snow cover is often good.

On one side you have a magnificent view of the Lungern valley and its lake.

From the Tüffengrat 1,857 m your view will be of Lake Brienz and the Brienzer Rothorn range

At the highest point of this tour, you will have the opportunity to eat at the Schönbuel which is at 2,008 m.

Do not forget to pass by the hamlet of Breitenfeld which with its church is a pretty jewel in this natural setting
