To get there: A12 to Châtel-Saint-Denis and then towards Les Paccots. Cross Les Paccots and at the exit of the village take the direction of Le Rathvel.

Where to park: Parking de la Cascade (free) 80 m after the bridge.

You can't miss the start which is on the other side of the road and which is signposted  by a large panel on which you can see the route. Route 8 will take you to the "Le Vuipay" refreshment "buvette".

Ascents and descents alternate until the junction (see red pear on the map below). From this point, you have the choice: either you turn left and go up by "Le Petit Mology", or you continue straight and you go up by "Vuipay Dessous". 

I branched off to the left and climbed into the forest to reach Le Petit Mology. Whatever the route taken it climbs "hard". Despite a sign telling you to continue straight on at the next fork, take the bend to your right. I didn't understand what this sign was doing there but I followed the other hikers and the tracks made.
At the Vuipay restaurant, you can rent bobsleighs to go down.
