The Pleiades
(5.6km)

Minimum altitude: 1,214 m

Maximum altitude: 1,411m

Degree of difficulty: T1

Elevation +: 241 m

Approximate walking time: 1h30

To get there:A9 motorway to Vevey. Then Saint-Légier, Blonay and finally towards Les Pléiades.

Where to park:large free car park next to the Tenasses marsh

The route begins north of the car park. You will first cross the Les Tenasses marsh (peat bog) to arrive at the Prantin mountain pasture.

Continue straight to the road and turn left to a place called  "The Conversions". Follow the signposts "parcours Prantin and restaurant la Châ.

Note that the climb from Les Conversions to the ridge is quite steep.

You will therefore follow the ridge and go down towards the Pléiades station.

At the station you have two options:

1) The first is to follow the so-called path of the planets which runs along the railway line

2) cross the MOB railway line and take the footpath that goes down to Lally.

For my part, I took, somewhat at random, the path of the planets but I admit that I regret it because the path follows the path of the MOB and it is paved.

You will complete the loop after joining the Lally road and branching off to the left.
