To get there:A9 to Aigle (exit 17 Aigle). Then direction Le Sépey, Vers l'Eglise, Les Diablerets, Col du Pillon and finally Lac Retaud.
Where to park:large free car park next to Lake Retaud
The route begins by taking the path overlooking the lake. Shortly after the lake, take the direction of the Col de Voré. You will then arrive at a place called Chalet-Vieux from which you will have a very beautiful view of the Arnesee. Shortly after, you can either take the footpath that climbs through the pastures, or take the mountain road to reach the Col des Andérets
From the top, you will have a magnificent view of Sex Rouge, Cap au Moine and Lake Arnesee.
I wanted to go down the path on the Lués de Retaud side, but something unexpected forced me to change my program and so I went down to the Andérets pass to reach the Isenau mountain pasture, pass by the Marnèche to finally reach the lake.
Note that from the summit, if you do not return to the Col des Andérets, the path that descends directly is very steep and we are no longer on a course rated T2 but rather T3. The greatest caution is required!
