The course begins on the heights of Estavannens. The car was parked in a bend just before the ban. (see the start of the hike on the map) If you take the mountain road, several switchbacks will lead you to Ciernedon d'Amont. From there you will follow the footpath to the cross.

The section leading from the cross to the top does not leave you the right to make mistakes and the ice ax is not too much!
