Ropraz Hut (4.2 Km)

Minimum altitude: 881 m

Maximum altitude: 921 m

Walking time: 1 hour

Ascent: 67m

Descent: 81m

The route proposed below is only one of the many possibilities of routes that you can do in winter on snowshoes, in the woods of Jorat. Given the number of trails and forest roads that intersect in these woods, the number of possible routes is large.

You will find many parking spaces along the roads or at the Chalet-à-Gobet itself.

For my part, I went on the so-called road of the Peasants which leaves  du Chalet-à-Gobet and which leads to Peney-le-Jorat or Villars-Tiercelin.

I parked near the source of the Talent, where there is also a lumberjack refuge and a fountain. You can park on both sides of the road in principle.

I repeat myself but if the snow "is there", you can explore the many trails that crisscross the forest.
