The route begins in the hamlet of La Cergniaule, on the heights of Les Avants.  You can park just above the "La Cergniaulaz" hostel. The path takes you through the woods to first arrive at a place called "La Goille aux Cerfs". You will then continue to the Col du Soladier. From there, it is better to be sure-footed and especially on the last section which runs along an edge! 

We point out that there is no fixed rope or cable!
