A small lake which is above the heights of Evolène. To access it, we went to the hamlet of « Les Farquèses », which is located between Les Haudères and Arolla. A parking is located along the road below the hamlet (Photo 01 and 02) The first section is on the small mountain road that goes to Les Farquèses, Pra Grand and La Giette. Shortly after La Giette, in the bend, take the hiking path that overlooks La Tour and Evolène (Photo 03). You will have a beautiful view of La Dent Blanche mountain
There you will find 3 tables for picnics and the possibility to eat at the hamlet’s snack bar.

Pour vous y rendre : Autoroute A9 jusqu'à Sion Est (sortie n° 27). Ensuite prendre direction Val d'Hérens, Evolène, Les Haudères. Prendre direction Arolla mais s'arrêter au parking (gratuit) qui est le long de la route et en-dessous du hameau "Les Farquesses".

Le parcours débute en prenant la route de la Niva et qui mène au hameau susmentionné. Après celui-ci la route nous a mené au hameau suivant de "La Giette". Nous avons ensuite traversé la forêt de "Zau Derri"pour finalement atteindre la clairière du hameau d'Arbey.
C'est une randonnée sans aucune difficulté, et le dénivelé n'est que de 93 m... Il peut aisément être fait en famille !
