Vernamiège Lake 

A very nice place to have a picnic. Several benches are located by the lake and grill houses have been installed on the sides of the small valley leading to the lake.

Two picnic tables, as well as two grill fireplaces, are located just above the lake. To get there: Motorway to Sion East, turn right when leaving the motorway and at the 2nd roundabout take direction Bramois. Leaving Bramois, go towards Nax, Saint-Martin. In Mase, do not enter the village, but continue towards Saint-Martin and about 1 km away, you will find the indication for Mayens de Mase (Photo 01) You thus turn left and you continue until the crossroads where you will find the indication "Vernamiège" (turn left, Photo 02). A little further you will find another junction (Photo 03) and there you will turn right towards the lake.

If you want to have a walk, you can go to Gauthier bar. You have 2 possibilities : walk long the road or to follow the walking trail. Please look at the second map !
