To get there :  motorway A9 to Martigny. Take the Grand-Saint-Bernard exit. Continue in this direction until Liddes. Then in the village of Liddes, turn right and go down towards the river to reach Dranse. Continue to Le Chapelet, passing through Vichères.

Where to park : in the parking lots of the Chapelet ski lift. You will be spoiled for choice when choosing your place: the parking lot is large!

Hike starts at the upper end of the top parking lot (when you get there there is a parking lot on the right at the bottom and another on the left). Take the road which goes straight ahead and turn left at the 3rd junction. You also have the possibility of taking the path which starts from the hamlet of Chapelet and which will lead you to the Bavon pasture.

You will pass behind the arrival of the Chaux-de-Bavon chairlift. Shortly after a small pond, which was dry at the time of my passage, you will take a slight left. If you're wrong like me, that's okay. Set your goal at the edge of the forest and along which the trail runs. Take care when you reach the topc : there are some cliffs

From the top, you will have a magnificent view of the Val Ferret, of Champex-lac and the Grand Combin massif among others. On the other hand, the descent is quite steep and requires good shoes. Last recommendation: during the descent, be careful not to take the wrong path and to join the forest road that will lead you to Le Chapelet.
